AMSG is seeking a Jr Budget Specialist & SharePoint Administrator to effectively support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Compliance, Risk, and Remediation (CRR) Business Office (BO).

Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of business/operations experience

Scope: The AMSG team provides budget, acquisition, and contract management support to the CRR Business Office. Our support includes coordinating and supporting actions with the Office of Strategic Sourcing, IT Budget, and Finance (ITBF), and Business Integration & Outcomes Service (BIOS). We support the budget and acquisition processes assigned to CRR to include developing requirements and the management of budget and acquisition documents utilizing the Budget Tracking Tool (BTT), Integrated Financial Acquisition Management System (iFAMS), ITBF, and the CRR Business Office SharePoint site.
Responsibilities Include:
- Procurement/Acquisition Tasks – lead and manage the resource tracker report and the resource chart.
- Procurement Post Award Support – manage the CRR BO SharePoint site for each procurement/contract processed.
- Budget Support – support budget meetings, coordinate PowerPoint presentation development/updates, maintain budget-related POC lists, coordinate meeting schedules
- Budget Formulation – with assistance from Sr Budget Specialists, develop narratives, exhibits, and artifacts.
- Budget Operating Plan Build & Execution – assist with developing the Budget Operating Plan for Government approval.
- Unfunded Requirements – coordinate and compile Unfunded Requirements (UFR) packages (quarterly) and upload to the government's tracking tool.
- Budget Activities - access documents, initiate requests, query documents/reports, and reconcile documents and reports as needed, maintain current trackers, and BO SharePoint site.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Lifecycle preferred.
- Complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and are conscientious about assignments.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Must be technically proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
