CBRN Senior Capabilities Development Analyst (Subject Matter Expert – SME)

AMSG is seeking a Senior Capabilities Development Analyst with Marine Corps Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Subject Matter Expertise.

General Description:  Provide technical support regarding USMC CBRN Defense program systems to the Marine Corp’s Ground Combat Element Division – Force Protection, CBRN Defense Branch in support of capabilities analysis, requirements generation, and budgeting.
 

Specific Duties:  Provide Programmatic, Technical, and Science & Technology support to the CBRN Defense Branch for the development of Marine Corps/Joint capabilities documents and support of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. May be required to occasionally lead and manage the CBRN Contract Team.

  • Ensure the successful execution of CBRN equities within the Marine Corps and Joint capabilities development systems;
  • Perform a variety of complex analytical tasks associated with JUONS and JCIDS Documentation on CBRN Systems;
  • Provide Force Development and Science & Technology technical reviews and recommendations for service goals and objectives to support Technology Concepts, User Assessments, and Advanced Technology Demonstrations;
  • Support CBRN Defense Branch CIOs with document preparation, e.g., Information Papers, White Papers, and stakeholder briefs;
  • Provide technical analysis of proposed systems and review doctrine and documents for CBRN concepts and capabilities;
  • Work with stakeholders to solve capability requirements problems by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT);
  • Respond to taskers and tracks document routing and related actions;
  • Coordinate meetings and track subsequent action items.

Requirements:

  • Ability to interact daily with the Marine Corps customer and Joint Program Executive Office in a dynamic, fast paced environment, including multi-tasking and prioritizing requirements;
  • Knowledge of DOTMLPF analysis, JCIDS Capabilities documentation development, Universal Needs, Urgent Universal Needs, Deliberate Universal Needs (UNS/UUNS/DUNS) statements;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral);
  • Background in Marine Corps Operations, to include MAGTF operations and staff integration is desired;
  • Experience with requirements, capabilities, and force structure development is desired;
  • Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear experience is a definite plus;
  • Former Action Officer at MCCDC or HQMC with knowledge of Marine Corps operations and staffing processes is a definite plus.
