AMSG is seeking a Sr Program Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Innovation, Research, and Development Coordination (IRDC) function by facilitating department-wide strategic planning, innovation coordination, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and governance activities that improve research and development collaboration across DHS.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, business, strategic studies, engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of federal strategic planning or program management experience.
  • Experience supporting governance boards and executive-level initiatives.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, ServiceNow, and Microsoft collaboration tools.
  • Citizenship - US
  • Location: Washington, DC and Remote
  • Start Date: 1 October 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Support administration of the DHS IRDC process and governance framework.
  • Assist development and maintenance of Department-wide R&D inventories.
  • Develop strategic planning artifacts and implementation documentation.
  • Establish and measure program performance metrics.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and strategic assessments.
  • Facilitate stakeholder coordination across DHS Components.
  • Support development of future-focused research and innovation strategies.
  • Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, and communications materials.
  • Contribute to Department-wide R&D strategic planning efforts.
  • Develop visualizations and dashboards that support executive decision-making.
