Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking an Office Manager with facilities management experience to support the Solutions Delivery Division (SDD) within the Defense Health Agency. This is a contingent hire position.

Job Type: Full Time, Contract estimated to begin 1 May 2025 – 31 April 2030

Citizenship & Clearance Requirements: Applicant must be a US Citizen and possess a current DoD Secret Clearance or Public Trust.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity of the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.

 

Scope: The SDD is the premier provider of information and technology, simulation, and acquisition program management for the Defense Health Agency.  SDD leverages an innovative acquisition culture, acquisition-trained workforce, and a business-oriented mindset that drives continuous rationalization, optimization, cost reduction, and modernization.

As a division of the DHA Program Executive Office for Medical Systems, SDD’s Program Management Offices (PMOs) and Branches provide logistical, administrative, and technological applications and support to internal and external DHA and Military Health System stakeholders and customers.  In this role, SDD supports the Combatant Commands by supplying robust medical logistical support, lifecycle management, information technology infrastructure, and health delivery applications to provide globally integrated health services.

This effort will support the Executive Front Office, Business Staff (BS) and Stakeholder Engagement (SE) Branches in SDD within the Program Executive Office for Medical Systems/ Chief Information Officer J6 (PEO MS/CIO J6), part of DHA.  BS provides customer service across SDD, supporting Branches and PMO staff in administrative services, logistics and facilities, time and attendance, organizational training, and IT Human Capital management for manpower, military, and civilian personnel support.  SE promotes SDD’s IT solutions by implementing proven outreach strategies that positively shape stakeholders and user perception and experience.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide information technology infrastructure support to include tasks such as technology-refresh, laptop and equipment tracking, telecommunications, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Serve as onsite systems administrator and network administrator.
  • Coordinate and track annual equipment audits.
  • Oversee SDD work order requests. Manage all SDD hardware and software requests. Monitor the office supply to ensure a continuous reserve of required office materials. Receive and process a request for additional office supplies from SDD Program Office staff.
  • Develop and maintain SDD Process Assets and SDD Measures for SDD Facilities and Logistics.
  • Manage the in/out processing of SDD staff. Provide briefing/documents, SDD and DHA checklists, to facilitate the phase-out process. Send completed documents to appropriate offices for coordination. Provide monthly reports on in/out processing.
  • Develop and maintain office space planning for SDD employees. Support the Government to create more effective and productive office space. Provide monthly reports on the current space plan, related staff, and inventory in the office space.
      • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
      • Must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as experience in people management.
      • Ability to handle efficiently and effectively multiple and shifting priorities.
