Description

Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a Strategic Process SME/Organizational Leadership to support a prospective effort with EXLOG. This is a Contingent Hire position.

Position Summary

The Strategic Process SME provides Senior Leadership subject matter expertise and will work on-site at the Pentagon. The individual will provide high-level action officer support to SES and General Officer Leadership within LP and I&L and will interact directly with senior leadership to develop products in direct support of their efforts and initiatives.
 

Location: Pentagon, Washington, D.C

Clearance: An active Level TS/SCI clearance is required.

Desired Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Eight (8) years of related experience supporting USMC Headquarters Departments and coordination with the FMF.
  • Proven ability to communicate and interact with senior leaders (3-star level).
  • Proven ability to translate and develop strategic guidance and organizational priorities into executive-level presentations.
  • Experience reviewing, assessing, researching, and drafting input for speeches and briefs in support of senior executive service and general officer-level strategic communication.
  • Experience supporting and integrating input for congressional testimony and responses.
  • Experience with USMC Force Design efforts and development in support of organizational leadership goals and objectives, integrating overall USMC logistics equities for emerging logistics requirements.
  • Experience with Geographic Combatant Command and Service Component-level operations, to include planning, prioritization, force management, or resourcing.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing concepts of employment, concepts of operation, resourcing plans/strategies, and associated PPBEA actions.

Responsibilities

  • Review and provide comments on concepts, capability development, policy, strategy development, and other product development to integrate logistics equities.
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise on USMC enterprise-level logistics efforts.
  • Support the development, drafting, execution, and any related implementation efforts of DC I&L modernization or development efforts, to include collaborating with HQMC elements, FMF units, or Joint stakeholders as required.
  • Provide subject matter expertise support for service level engagement efforts and events.
  • Provide input on senior executive service and general officer level strategic communication (e.g., speech development and reviews, briefing development, congressional testimony research and preparation, strategic writing, and process analysis).
  • Provide input on ETMS2 tasks and responses between LPOV, LP, and other designated LP.
  • Support the Installations and Logistics Board (ILB) and Executive Offsite Symposium (EOS) with document reviews, analysis, and brief development.
