Citizenship & Clearance Requirements: Applicant must be a US Citizen and possess a current DoD Secret Clearance or Public Trust.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5-10 years as an active Task Manager leading/managing a team of equivalent size and complexity.
- Familiarity of the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
- Required comprehensive understanding of the Army, Navy and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs and regulations governing those programs.
Scope: The SDD is the premier provider of information and technology, simulation, and acquisition program management for the Defense Health Agency. SDD leverages an innovative acquisition culture, acquisition-trained workforce, and a business-oriented mindset that drives continuous rationalization, optimization, cost reduction, and modernization.
As a division of the DHA Program Executive Office for Medical Systems, SDD’s Program Management Offices (PMOs) and Branches provide logistical, administrative, and technological applications and support to internal and external DHA and Military Health System stakeholders and customers. In this role, SDD supports the Combatant Commands by supplying robust medical logistical support, lifecycle management, information technology infrastructure, and health delivery applications to provide globally integrated health services.
This contract will support the Executive Front Office, Business Staff (BS) and Stakeholder Engagement (SE) Branches in SDD within the Program Executive Office for Medical Systems/ Chief Information Officer J6 (PEO MS/CIO J6), part of DHA. BS provides customer service across SDD, supporting Branches and PMO staff in administrative services, logistics and facilities, time and attendance, organizational training, and IT Human Capital management for manpower, military, and civilian personnel support. SE promotes SDD’s IT solutions by implementing proven outreach strategies that positively shape stakeholders and user perception and experience.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level Human Capital Management support to the Federal/Military employees for new hire orientation. Typical tasks include creating civilian hiring action packets, conducting recurring meetings with DHA business partners including United States Army Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR), advising personnel developing performance goals and objectives, and other daily manpower activities as defined.
- Provide day-to-day operations support for staff comprised of military, civilian, public health service, and contract support personnel. Typical tasks include assistance establishing and supporting the in/out processing of all staff members; managing timekeeping and TDY assignments; updating policy; managing personnel files and documentation, and developing and maintaining the Organization Chart
- Provide senior-level Human Resource Management support and guidance on Service-specific, as well as DHA HR, policies, and procedures for all SDD military personnel.

- Required comprehensive understanding of the Army, Navy and Air Force military personnel and manpower programs and regulations governing those programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
