Advanced Management Strategies Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Recovery Coordinator Program to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA). AMSG supports a variety of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) program and performance management services. Contract Length: January 2023 to January 2028

Location: Arlington, VA

Education: Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration

Experience: 10 years of demonstrated experience in human resource management

Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a DHA Public Trust

Certification Requirements: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical or functional expert and applies expert functional knowledge and experience to plan.
  • Plan, direct, organize, control, and coordinate with Regional Coordinators to establish and maintain relationships with private, public, and nonprofit organizations to provide education and career opportunities available to transition to civilian life.
  • Coordinate with Regional Coordinators and develop functional guidance.
  • Establish processes and procedures to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and defines the standards for quality and timeliness to ensure results.
  • Conduct hiring of team personnel and ensures that all personnel assigned to the task meet government qualification standards and receive the necessary training.
  • Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Review opportunities for breadth and scope, and makes recommendations for change, to ensure that opportunities are appropriate and best suited for military service members.
