Advanced Management Strategies Group (AMSG) is seeking a full time Site Lead/Knowledge Manager with U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or other Army/DoD experience and SharePoint Online (SPO) experience.

General Description: 

Supports Knowledge Management (KM) activities within the organization by developing capabilities and content management best practices while providing leadership and management of the KM Team in support of the Aviation Center of Excellence (ACoE), Fort Novosel, AL. Communicates information about the organization’s knowledge sharing processes and supports training and orientation sessions. Acts as the liaison between the contract team and the Office of the Chief Knowledge Officer KM contract Program Manager at Fort Eustis, VA. 

 

Requirements: 

  • ​Self-motivated, analytical, and service driven with strong presentation, writing and communication skills and are successful in leading by influence. 

  • Knowledge of Army KM and/or Business Process Improvement management policies and procedures. 

  • SPO Administrator and Teams experience. 

  • Ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders to accomplish mission goals. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior government leaders in an onsite support role. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects to create timely, high-quality deliverables. 

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize requirements​​. 

  • Subcontractor management. 

 

Specific Duties: 

The Site Lead/Knowledge Manager for the TRADOC KM program works with internal groups on reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes, business systems and user needs to achieve process and change improvements and to improve overall business results. Assist the program with the development of new KM processes, and support diagnosis of current issues, and redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to make sure they are effective. ​ 

  • Provide SPO skills and KM support. 

  • Oversee and provide support for the KM Program. 

  • Assist client with the use of collaborative tools to share information across organizations. 

  • Assist with the development of solutions, providing functional analysis and input that sets the standard for consistent training and knowledge collaboration throughout the organization, including face-to-face and digital learning experiences. 

  • Develop understanding of key business drivers and how to translate those into effective training programs that develop and improve skill levels across the organization. 

  • Coordinate activities related to the planning, development, delivery, and organization of training programs including field-based training and online learning programs for delivery across different functions where applicable. 

  • Support training and other stakeholder sessions for the implantation and maintenance of KM procedures. 

  • Develop metrics that provide data for KM process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. 

  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes. 

  • Develop policies, methods, and procedures supporting and leading to improvement of business processes and in support of change management​. 

  • Maintain a SPO environment by establishing, documenting, and deploying appropriate monitoring of end users. 

  • Provide a range of strategies to identify, create, represent, distribute, and enable the use of SPO as an effective collaboration platform. 

  • Perform SPO administrative actions, answering trouble tickets relating to SPO and/or KM. 

  • Work as Site Collection Administrator on all ACoE site collections. 

 

As Site Lead: 

  • Coordinate allocation of personnel in relation to client requirements – align team talents to meet the site KM needs and requirements. 

  • Escalate any contract or personnel concerns/issues to contract leadership. 

  • Monitor the team’s data performance metric entries. 

  • Provide input to all monthly status reports.
