General Description:

The Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist – Content Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) assists with the organization's KM activities by leveraging the functionalities of SharePoint Online (SPO) and adhering to content management standards. This role also involves disseminating details regarding knowledge sharing procedures, content management, and contributing to the execution of KM training programs.
 

Specific Duties:

The KM Specialist – Content Management SME for the TRADOC KM program works with internal groups on reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating KM practices to improve overall collaboration and information sharing.

  • Provide KM support to TRADOC.
  • Serve as the content management SME.
  • Collaborate with SMEs across the organization to support design and develop KM programs and documentation that improve customer satisfaction and employee performance.
  • Assist the program with the development of new KM processes, and support diagnosis of current issues, and redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to make sure they are effective.
  • Coordinate activities related to the planning, development, delivery, and organization of training programs including field-based training and online learning programs for delivery across different functions where applicable.
  • Support training and other stakeholder sessions for the implantation and maintenance of KM procedures.
  • Assist client with the use of collaborative tools to share information across organizations.
  • Assist maintaining organizations SPO sites.
  • Support training and other stakeholder sessions for the implantation and maintenance of KM procedures.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Army KM doctrine, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct SPO training.
  • Ability to manage a diverse group of stakeholders to accomplish mission goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, innovate, and maintain conventional office work systems/business processes using Microsoft Office 365 and other authorized software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior government leaders in an on-site support role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects to create timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize requirements.

 

Additionally, a Candidate will:

  • Have successful past performance in providing oversight and guidance on application of content management systems and workflows.
  • Exhibits proficiency in business management and a proven record of applying innovative solutions, design thinking, disruptive innovation, process management/design, benchmarking, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, rate of innovation, along with other related methodologies and practices to programs of comparable scale and complexity.
  • Demonstrates expertise, understanding, and experience in Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development or Organizational Management.
  • Has experience leveraging performance management/measurement, strategic planning, research, and analysis, change management, and behavioral science theories, principles, and practices.
